ISLA Annual International Sports Law Conference
Conference Overview
Join leading legal professionals, academics, and sports industry stakeholders at the International Sports Law Conference, organized by the International Sport Lawyers Association (ISLA). The conference will take place on November 7-8, 2025, in a symbolic venue directly facing Berlin’s historic Olympic Stadium – a site that connects the legacy of global sports with the future of international legal frameworks.
The timing and location are especially significant: just one day after the conference, the Olympic Stadium will host a landmark NFL game on November 9, underscoring Berlin’s growing role as a global hub for major sporting events. Over the course of two days, the conference will present a dynamic program of panel discussions, keynote addresses, and networking opportunities, all centered on the evolving landscape of international sports law. Key topics will include the distinct legal frameworks governing the NFL and soccer (football), the jurisprudence and recent decisions of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), and the emerging legal challenges in the world of esports.
