Paolo Macchi is a lawyer in New York, California and Italy. He focuses on IP, sports and media, and has a proven track record in advising the sports marketing and entertainment industry on international, commercial and IP transactions.

Mr. Macchi has significant experience acting for leading sports entities in the licensing of IP rights relating to the organization and staging of premiere sports and esports events, as well as on trademark prosecution and brand protection.

He advised on the acquisition and distribution of TV, media, advertising and sponsorship rights between international federations, sports leagues, top-division football clubs, rightsholders and major broadcasters across the world (free-to-air TV, satellite TV, pay-TV, IPTV and OTT platforms).
